Always close to the figure and professionalism of the sommelier as a vehicle for culture and knowledge of wines, Villa Sandi was sponsor of the 5th edition of the “Best UK Sommelier - Villa Sandi Award” which was held in London.
Coordinated by the UK Sommelier Association, the competition awarded the three best professional sommeliers in the United Kingdom during an event at the Leonardo Royal Hotel. The sommeliers in the competition measured themselves in various tests, written and practical, in front of a jury made up of wine buyers, sommeliers from well-known restaurants, former champions, Master of Wine, Master Sommelier, members of the Italian Sommelier Association and the Association UK sommelier.
Trait d'union between producers and consumers, professional sommeliers promote the territories and wines that are an expression of them, tell the story and the uniqueness of each wine, encouraging conscious consumption.
