Being a winegrower requires an environmental and social responsibility: that of helping to ensure, through good practices, the harmonious and sustainable development of the territory.
For twenty years we have been committed to protecting the delicate balance of ecosystems with "Biodiversity Friend" behaviors, producing green energy, through the careful use of water resources and more.
To spread and transfer this culture, we met our 130 contributors representing the Collio and Prosecco territories, where they cultivate about 2000 hectares of vineyards.
With them we shared our daily, conscious and long-term commitment to sustainability. The contributors are not only the producers of the grapes from which our wines are born but real custodians of the territory, its traditions and landscape, playing a role of great social and environmental value.
The meeting took place on our estate in Borgo Conventi, in Farra d’Isonzo. The guest of the evening was Professor Attilio Scienza, one of the most authoritative experts in viticulture and enology in Italy, who explored the production areas of the Collio and the Isonzo and illustrated the most current technical and cultural issues related to these territories.
Saturday 25, always in the splendid setting of Borgo Conventi, we hosted our employees with their families for a lunch that reaffirmed a central value of our identity: Villa Sandi is not a simple company, but a large family united by a common vision.
